Let's talk sauce and how we define things. There are 3 "categories": sauce, dressing, salsa. First, "salsa" is nothing more than "sauce" with pulp. So that leaves us sauce and dressing. To us there is no such thing as "dressing" and here's why. Say you have an Italian Dressing and you put it on your salad and the following day you decide to put the "dressing" on basic pasta. How is that different than a tomato sauce you put on basic pasta... you don't call it tomato "dressing". Moreover, you can put "sauce" on a salad and no one balks. So in essence there is only "sauce" and what you put it on or dip food into.
We deal primarily with "hot" sauces but if we come up with other great recipes we will share them here. So in general, sauces come fall into 1 or more of the following categories:

Color: Red, Green, White, Clear, et cetera
Each recipe here will have 1 or more of these categories listed on each page and each recipe will be separated by their general color as the primary sorting category.
